Just north of Napa, the decision was made to uproot the trees and replace them with Chardonnay vines. A wise decision, as it turned out. Almost 40 years later, Kendall Jackson wines still stand at the top of the podium. These days, there's also room for other grape varieties, such as Pinot Noir, Zinfandel, and Merlot. However,
